Molly Each is a freelance writer, editor and storyteller based in the Twin Cities.

For more than a decade, she covered the Chicago lifestyle scene as managing editor at publications like Michigan Avenue and Splash, the Chicago Sun-Times Sunday magazine. As a freelancer, she wrote about the city’s vibrant food, design and fashion communities for the Chicago Tribune, Plate magazine, Daily Candy, CS and Chicago Public Radio.

After moving back to her hometown, she dug into the Twin Cities media community, writing for publications like Minnesota Monthly, Eater Twin Cities, Twin Cities Business and Meal Magazine, where she currently serves as Executive Editor.

She has penned content for brands like Crate & Barrel, Kroger/Mariano’s, Apple Vacations, Mars, Abbott Laboratories, and has done editorial branding work for juice bar Owen + Alchemy and Conrad’s.

Molly believes wholeheartedly in the power of storytelling, and has read her work at events like the Printer’s Row Book Fair, RUI and 2nd Story, where she served as a company member for nearly a decade. She is also the co-founder of Between Bites, a culinary reading series featuring live stories from food industry folks, with funds going to charity. To date, the event has raised more than $50,000 for local and national non-profit organizations.

Her short stories and essays have appeared in Fresh Yarn, Eleven Eleven, Analemma Quarterly, Hair Trigger and Toasted Cheese. Her story “A Prostitute Comparison” was published in the anthology Briefly Knocked Unconscious By a Low-Flying Duck, and was performed by NYC theater company Bohemian Archaeology as part of their Boo(zy) festival. Her piece about Steve Bartman was performed by Theater Seven Chicago as part of the play “We Live Here,” which was nominated for a Jeff Award. She is a three-time Ragdale resident.

In her spare time, you can usually find her kicking it outside, trying a new recipe, or hanging with her friends and family. She’s one of those rare people who genuinely love winter.
